When you tap it, we ask your Squiryl app to share exactly the fields your quote needs (for example, your name, date of birth, and address). You approve the share on your phone — a KYC-verified Squiryl account is required, so we also know you're a real, verified person. Your details are encrypted on your device and only decrypted on our server after you approve; Squiryl itself never sees them in the clear.

Only what the quote needs: your name and date of birth (to identify you and price risk accurately) and your address (to assess location-based risk, like flood zones or local claim rates). We can't ask for more than we've configured in our Squiryl data package — asking for extra fields is rejected automatically.

We only see the fields you approve, and only after you approve them. The share is end-to-end encrypted with a one-time key that Squiryl itself never stores — so even Squiryl can't read your details. By default, shares are one-time: once we've read the data for your quote, it's gone.

Yes, for the verified, form-free flow — that's what lets us skip the paperwork and gives you the "verified human" trust signal on your policy. It takes a couple of minutes to set up if you don't already have it.
